Standard Type Prize Draw Entry (Paid Prize draw with Free Route) – How to Enter
The price to enter each Prize Draw will be displayed on our website next to the prize’s description and photograph. This price represents an invitation to treat for a single online entry/ticket in the Draw. No more than 20 (Twenty) entries/tickets may be purchased by each entrant into any competition and sometimes less, each draw will state the maximum number of entries. An entrant may enter multiple competitions.
The entrant must read the competition question and use their own knowledge, judgment, and skill to select the answer that they wish to enter. Once the answer has been selected, the entrant will select how many entries they wish to purchase.
Once the number of entries has been selected by an entrant, the total payment price will be displayed and payment can then be processed via our secure online payment gateway using one of the various payment methods offered. Credit/Debit Card or other payment method details will be requested to complete this process.
The entrant is responsible for checking before payment that they have selected the answer that they intended to and the correct quantity of entries.
The entrant accepts that payment alone does not guarantee entry into the draw – this is only achieved by paying for a ticket (or sending in a free entry) AND answering the qualifying question correctly. The entrant recognises that they must exercise their knowledge, judgment, and skill to provide the correct answer. Those entries where the question is answered incorrectly may still be charged, but they will not generate a successful Entry/Ticket. Successful entry into the prize draw does not guarantee that the entrant will win any prize.
The entrant may make an entry for free using a postal entry, the details are shown below: “Free Postal Entry”
TickTock Tickets Draw - (Free Route to Enter with Paid Route alternative) – How to Enter
The price to enter “TickTock Tickets” draws will be displayed on our website next to the prize description and photograph. An entrant may enter multiple “TickTock Tickets” draws
In “TickTock Tickets” draws there is no question and no requirement to use knowledge, judgment, or skill to select an answer. Each Entrant may enter each “TickTock Tickets” draw using either the postal “free-route” if they wish or any paid route but not both for the same competition.
Once the number of entries has been selected by an entrant, the total payment price will be displayed and payment can then be processed via our secure online payment gateway using one of the various payment methods offered. Credit/Debit Card or other payment method details will be requested to complete our payment process. No payment to us is required if an entrant chooses a Free Postal Entry, although there will be a minimum payment required to 3rd parties such as Royal Mail PLC.
The entrant is responsible for checking before payment that they have selected the correct number of tickets before they process their entry.
The entrant recognises that successful entry into the prize draw does not guarantee that the entrant will win any prize. Due to the nature of random number draws, TickTock Competitions attests that every single entry, including a paid entry or Free Postal Entry, has an equal probability of being drawn as the main prize winner.
Free Postal Entry
To enter via post, entrants must have an active account on our website and provide all of the contact details as requested on the sign-up form.
The Free Postal entry must be written or printed and can be on a stamped enclosed letter or on an unenclosed, stamped postcard. We will not accept franked mail. We do not accept multiple entries in a single envelope, you must send each entry in its own envelope. You may not enter on behalf of another person, each entrant must complete their own free entry if they are physically capable of doing so. If it is suspected that an entrant has sent in multiple entries in other names, every entry from that person may be discarded and the entrant may also be disqualified from any future competitions. We would not discriminate against a disabled person who was physically unable to complete an entry without assistance.
Postal Entries are limited to one Entry to each Competition per account holder, multiple entries to the same competition from the same account holder will be discarded, each postal entry must state the following details:
The competition being entered
The answer to the qualifying question (if it is required to enter)
The entrant must write or print “TickTock Tickets” on the letter or postcard if entering a "TickTock Tickets” draw, this postal entry then counts as their only entry for that competition, they must not enter the same competition again using the postal method.
Full name of the entrant (this must match an account on our website)
Entrant’s full postal address (this must match the same account)
Entrant's email address (this must match the same account)
Entrant’s telephone number (this must match the same account)
Entrant’s date of birth (the entrant must be over 18 at the date of posting the entry)
The entrant must state on the letter/postcard “I have read and agree to the Competition Terms and Conditions”
Letter and Postcard entries are to be sent to: TickTock Competitions, Capital House, Keysoe. Bedford. MK44 2HX
Writing on the letter/postcard must be clearly legible and in British English (if you cannot hand-write the entry you may print it instead). We will not grant entry to the prize draw if the writing/printing is illegible insofar that we cannot read the necessary information. The entrant’s details will be checked to confirm they match a user account on our website. It is the entrants’ responsibility to make sure they update their account with any changes to their contact details. We reserve the right to disallow entry for any letters or postcards received where the details cannot be matched to one of our online user accounts and these letters/postcards will not be counted as successful entries into the prize draw.
Entrants must attach either a first-class or second-class stamp to their letter or postcard to ensure that it arrives in time for the live draw. We will not accept franked mail. Entrants may also send by recorded or registered post but we advise against this as these may be returned to the post office if we are not present to sign for them and we will not collect undelivered mail. We will check for postal entries regularly and assign any correctly completed letters/postcards to unallocated free entries in the chosen draw. We do not attempt to exclude postal entries by having only 1 set day per week on which we will process your free postal entries, if you send a postal entry before the draw date we will make all reasonable endeavours to ensure that it is included in the draw. Once a draw is closed to further entries we will wait the mandatory 72 hours before performing a live draw, to allow postal entries to arrive. If postal entries arrive after all the available free entries have been allocated they will be entered into the next suitable draw for the same or similar prize on the same basis, one free postal entry per entrant only. If no suitable similar draw is planned we reserve the right to discard the free postal entry. We will endeavour to notify the entrant if this has happened. We will not refund postal charges in the case of discarded entries.
By entering via post, entrants also agree and must state that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions. Each postal entry is deemed to be an offer made by the entrant for a single free entry into the competition shown. The free ticket offer is not accepted unless the details on the letter/postcard are verified as belonging to an active account holder and all details on the postal entry are correct and match the account details of that account holder. Once all these details are verified and the postal entry has been written onto the entry spreadsheet and published on the website, the free entry offer can be deemed to have been accepted.
All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to TickTock Competitions will become the property of TickTock Competitions upon receipt and will not be returned.

The Draw
Once the maximum number of entries is received, the TickTock Timer has counted down to zero, or at some other time agreed by TickTock Competitions and the majority of entrants, the competition will close and each entry will be allocated a random number based on the total number of available tickets at the start of the competition (for example 1-99/1-999/1-9,999/1-99,999 etc). A document containing the entrants’ names and their allocated random numbers will be uploaded onto our website typically 24 hours before the draw, but no sooner than 72 hours after the draw has been closed (this is required by UK law, to allow postal entries time to arrive) accompanied by the date and time scheduled for the live draw. We will also endeavour to publish the date and time of the live draw on our social media pages at that time. While we always expect to commit to a live draw on social media, if a live draw is not possible due to unforeseen circumstances (such as a power cut, loss of internet connection or loss of social media feed or any other unforeseen or unexpected circumstance), we may have to record a live draw and post it later. All draws will be recorded whether live or not for later verification if required.
At the agreed date and time, we will set up a live stream on our social media page and use our chosen random number generator to generate the winning number and announce this live on social media.
At no time will we divulge or be obliged to divulge whether the winner was the holder of a free ticket.
We will contact the winner by both email and telephone to confirm the win and arrange delivery of the prize. We will be using the contact details provided by the entrant, so such details must be up to date. We will request further proof of identity, address, age and anything else we require to identify the winner correctly. We will do all within our reasonable means to make contact with the winner and, if unsuccessful, will try again repeatedly for a period of at least 28 days.
If we have not been able to make contact with the winner within 28 days of the result being announced, we will conduct another live draw to choose a different winner. The winning entry for the original winner will be annulled and details of this will be published on our website and social media page prior to the 2nd draw taking place. TickTock Competitions’ decision in re-running any draw is final.
TickTock Competitions reserves the right to amend the date of any live draw, due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances. If this were to occur, details would be published on the TickTock Competitions website and social media pages as soon as is practically possible.
If the number of competition entries has not reached the maximum limit by the posted competition closing date, TickTock Competitions reserves the right to cancel the draw and issue refunds to all the entrants, subject to our stated refunds policy shown below.
If TickTock Competitions concludes there have not been sufficient funds raised to cover the cost of the competition prize(s)and reasonable administration costs, the tickets will be refunded in full to the original purchaser and the draw will be rescheduled to start again another time or cancelled at our discretion. We will always seek to confer with those who have entered the draw in good faith and how they would like to proceed if the draw cannot be made due to a lack of sales. Free Postal tickets have no financial value and therefore cannot be refunded.
Delivery
All prizes will be delivered with no additional cost to the winner. We will use our own choice of courier with tracked delivery where possible. All prizes must be signed for on receipt and once received; ownership is transferred to the winner. If you are not present to sign for delivery or for any reason do not sign for the delivery, TickTock Competitions bears no responsibility if your prize does not arrive.
From time to time we may choose to deliver prizes in person. If this is the case, we will contact the winner to notify them and arrange a suitable time for delivery.
All prizes will be as described on the website. No additional parts, services or warranty will be included in addition to the prize unless they are described as part of the prize on the website. Entrants agree that the typical requirement under the consumer protection (distance selling) regulations 2000 (or any legislation which supersedes it) for goods and services ordered online to be supplied within 30 days will not apply to any of our competitions. We will make all reasonable efforts to supply prizes within a reasonable timeframe acceptable to the winners.
Liability limitation
TickTock Competitions do not in any way guarantee the monetary value of the prizes in any of the competitions. It is the individuals’ choice whether or not they choose to enter a competition based on the information available and having read and understood these terms and conditions.
TickTock Competitions may substitute any prize if it should become unavailable during the competition but only for one of equal or higher value. Any substituted prize must be of the same nature and type as the original prize unless the winner agrees to accept an alternative or an alternative is offered at the start of the competition (such as a cash alternative).
TickTock Competitions will not be liable for any loss suffered by any entrant as a result of failed computer systems, internet connection, incorrect input of data by the entrant, incorrect use of any website, or any other technological malfunction.
We do not accept any liability for loss or damage to the prize once its ownership has been transferred to the winner. Damage caused during delivery must be claimed from the courier or via the supplying dealership.
TickTock Competitions provides no warranty for any of the prizes. Once the prize has been delivered, it is the responsibility of the winner to seek professional advice should any faults occur.
TickTock Competitions accepts no liability for any personal or financial loss suffered by the entrant except in the instance of death or personal injury caused by the direct negligence of TickTock Competitions.
TickTock Competitions reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if there are reasonable grounds to believe that the entrant has breached these terms and conditions or acted unlawfully, fraudulently, or with malice.
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect your statutory rights.
Refunds Policy
Refunds will always be considered on individual merit, except for item A below in which case they are guaranteed for every entrant, if you have changed your mind and want a refund, please ask for one:
A. You are GUARANTEED a full refund where:
The competition is cancelled by TickTock Competitions
Entries for a specific competition are received after that competition has closed.
You are not eligible to enter the competition due to your age or country of domicile (please see “Entrant” above), proof of age and country of domicile will be required to obtain a refund
B. You MAY receive a refund if:
From time to time, as a goodwill gesture, we may refund ticket payment(s) for entrants who get the qualifying question(s) wrong, particularly where more than 25% of entries for a specific draw have answered incorrectly (suggesting that the qualifying questions are too difficult). We will only issue a single refund, if you get the qualifying question wrong repeatedly there will be no further refunds.
You have entered the incorrect competition and intended to enter for a different prize. In this instance, we may issue a refund once you have entered the correct competition and notified us of your mistake.
C. You MAY NOT receive a refund if:
You repeatedly enter competitions and then ask for a refund with no valid reason (A & B above)
It is suspected that you are attempting to obtain a refund solely to change to a free competition entry
You are suspected of fraud
It is suspected that your entries are malicious or intended to cause annoyance or disruption to TickTock Competitions or any part of their business
The competition you request a refund for has been closed to further entries (has sold out)
The entry list has been posted on our website and your name is on it
The competition you request a refund for has already been drawn or was being drawn or was about to be drawn at the time you requested a refund
In every case, the decision of TickTock Competitions is final and refunds can only be issued back to the original purchaser and using their original payment method.
